LED lamp with sensor of presence

I bought a bunch of LED bulbs with built-in presence sensor. Most burned in less than a month. Maybe the problem is the mains voltage that in most of the world is 220V, While in Rio de Janeiro is 127v. This causes only a few manufacturers make BI-Volt lamps or 127V, and certainly not if forehead very reliably.

This is a bi-Volt that worked for more than a year here in my house. Has 20 high-brightness white LEDs and a PIR motion sensor. As soon as you notice variation in capture of the infrared lamp turns on for 30 seconds, shutting down then.

There is a red LED which is lit all the time, I don't know for what. Don't bother too as it is very mild.

A given interesting: If you install this lamp in a spot with glass lid, infrared sensor won't work. The glass or transparent plastic block quite close to infrared wavelengths. Here at home I replaced the glass cover of the spot by a transparent CD, those who came with the stack of CD-Recordables. It worked because the center hole of the CD.

Another interesting data is the current, only 5mA! It is then a 0.6 W lamp, you spend at about 5KW annually (something close to 3 real) connected 24 hours a day and 7 days per week. Pity that the light emitted is weak, and bluish, Although perfect for hallways or bathrooms.

LED lamps are improving and will replace the fluorescent in the future. Although it's been 10 years that I listen to it and so far I've never seen LED bulbs good enough. This, for example, loses a close to a light bulb of 9W fluorescent and spends 15 times less, but as well as many other LED lamps emit a bluish coloring too, that bothers other people.

I made a video comparing this 0.6 W lamp with a 15W 25W incandescent and fluorescent. Showed also the installation with the CD and the presence sensor in operation. Check it out:

Here I leave the link to the lamp, because if it worked for a year is a good product. I bought on DealExtreme:
